All those nights you lie in bed wide awake can make you not only tired, but also fat. Beaufort fitness experts say that research by the Mayo Clinic found that insomniacs tend to consume an average of about 500 more calories the next day than those who get a good night’s sleep. Pardon the pun, but that’s a rude awakening for nearly 90 million U.S. adults who, according to this study, suffer from sleep deprivation.
This research coincides with another study released this year by the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, which warns that people who suffer from insomnia at least three nights a week are 54 percent more likely to have diabetes, 98 percent more likely to have coronary artery disease, 80 percent more likely to have had a heart attack, and 102 percent more likely to have had a stroke. But it’s not all gloom and doom. If you spend your nights tossing and turning, try one of the best natural sleep inducers there is: Exercise.
There is scientific evidence suggesting that a regular exercise like a Beaufort fitness program can boost our ability to sleep longer and better, according to Beaufort personal trainers and Beaufort fitness experts referring to a research conducted at Stanford University several years ago. This research indicated that people who exercised for 30 to 40 minutes at least four days a week improved sleep quality and duration.
How can physical activity put us to sleep? Much of it can be attributed to its impact on our mental health.
Think about what factors disrupt your sleep. In many cases, excessive emotional stress is at the root of the problem. There’s abundant evidence showing that depressed people are more prone to insomnia, while happy folks sleep well.
Fortunately, Beaufort fitness programs and/or regular exercise can make a positive difference. That’s because when we work out, we raise the body’s levels of ‘feel-good’ chemicals such as endorphins dopamine, seratonin, and norepinephrine. They, in turn, help reduce anxiety and release tension, so you can fall – and stay – asleep more easily.
Here are some of EarthFIT’s ABCs to improve your ZZZs (and banish the munchies) with Beaufort fitness exercise:
Start with tension-busting moves that warm up the body and release stiffness from all the major muscle groups such as a warm up like brisk walking, jogging, Frankenstein walks, high skips, side shuffle and whatever else your Beaufort Personal trainer suggests.
Follow that with a more intense workout that includes strength training and intervals. However, keep in mind that you shouldn’t overexert yourself to the point of absolute exhaustion hoping that tiredness will make it easier to fall asleep. “Just the opposite is likely to happen. If you put too much strain on your body in the beginning, you may end up too sore and possibly injured – and that will keep you awake at night. You can increase intensity as you go.
Exercise in the morning or if you’re not a morning person, in the afternoon, three to six hours of going to bed, otherwise you might be too energized and pepped up to sleep.

Beaufort Personal Trainer Reveals “First-Ever Lifetime Feeding Study Finds Genetically Engineered Corn Causes Massive Tumors, Organ Damage, and Early Death”
As a Beaufort personal trainer , I am constantly raising awareness to the public about the effects certain chemicals, food and toxins to our system and how it creates a ripple affect later on in life. We now have the first ever lifetime study of GMO foods that reveals how harmful these foods can be. It really is worth spending the extra dollars and time to buy organic and eat fresh fruits and veggies. But… the most important part of this is that the bill is passed to label GMO foods when we go grocery shopping. How is it possible that 50 other high powered countries require labeling but our government is attempting to keep us in the dark. The governments job is to protect the people and we have veered off that path long ago. Why is this even a fight to pass this bill. If the government was for the people it would make GMO labeling mandatory, no questions asked but funding from Monsanto and other large corporations is making the GMO issue tricky. The mighty dollar has become more important than our health. I would love to know if you think we should have GMO labeling or not, please leave your opinion below in the comment section.
- Buy as many organic foods as possible
- Stay away from soy and corn if you don’t know it origins. Approximately 80% of all soy and corn is GMO in the U.S and are used in most process foods.
- Start your own organic farm
- Stay away from all processed food as much as possible and eat out as little as possible because almost all restaurants use ingredients that are not organic
- Exercise consistently to help eliminate the build up of toxins
- Stay away from medications as long as you can especially if you have not tried eating healthy organic food and exercising a you medication for at least 3-6 months. If that is the case, then I suggest starting to exercise or find a Beaufort personal trainer and eat fresh healthy organic foods and you will see 90% of all health issues melt away.
According to the authors of the study:
“The health effects of a Roundup-tolerant genetically modified maize (from 11% in the diet), cultivated with or without Roundup, and Roundup alone (from 0.1ppb in water), were studied 2 years in rats. [Editors note: this level of Roundup is permitted in drinking water and GE crops in the US]
In females, all treated groups died 2-3 times more than controls, and more rapidly. This difference was visible in 3 male groups fed GMOs.
All results were hormone and sex dependent, and the pathological profiles were comparable. Females developed large mammary tumors almost always more often than and before controls, the pituitary was the second most disabled organ; the sex hormonal balance was modified by GMO and Roundup treatments.
In treated males, liver congestions and necrosis were 2.5-5.5 times higher… Marked and severe kidney nephropathies were also generally 1.3-2.3 greater. Males presented 4 times more large palpable tumors than controls, which occurred up to 600 days earlier.
Biochemistry data confirmed very significant kidney chronic deficiencies; for all treatments and both sexes, 76% of the altered parameters were kidney related. These results can be explained by the non linear endocrine-disrupting effects of Roundup, but also by the overexpression of the transgene in the GMO and its metabolic consequences.”
